* ASTRAZENECA: AstraZeneca Plc on Tuesday said it has paused global trials, including large late-stage trials, of its experimental coronavirus vaccine because of an unexplained illness in a study participant. BARCLAYS: Investment banker Francesco Ceccato is taking the helm of Barclays (LON:)’ Irish unit, where the bulk of its European business has shifted in recent years following Britain’s vote to leave the EU, according to an internal memo seen by Reuters. IAG: Shareholders backed IAG’s plan to raise 2.75 billion euros ($3.25 billion) in equity at a virtual meeting on Tuesday that saw the airline group’s long-time CEO Willie Walsh hand over to insider Luis Gallego. The UK blue-chip index ended 0.1% down on Tuesday as weak oil prices hurt major energy stocks, while losses in the mid-cap index were mitigated by Royal Mail (LON:), which rose after it flagged a boost from e-commerce.
